New R53 Badge

Just got this from OutMotoring. It helps to let others know what you're driving.

Then why have the "COOPER S" there?

(even though as a de-badger I have fundamental issues adding a badge myself)

Good point. I guess I'm just a sucker for another decal.

I like the looks of them and it would throw non-MINI people off but I like the clean, almost naked look of no badging. I added 1 appreance item to my car that is not covering another thing up: A Philly MINI decal in my window.

To the non-mini aficionado, that is going to make people think you have a special edition or something...
I've liked the looks of them ever since i saw them on www.Coopersport.com

Well you see...back in 2002......blah blah blah :-)

The other day, I saw parked MINI with a Mercedes-Benz "V12" emblem on the boot under the "Cooper" logo. Makes me wish I had my camera.

Nice badge. Now be prepared for the endless questions of what is a R53.

Thanks. I know some like to badge and others not to badge, but that's what makes everyone's Mini unique.

That's what I did, but painted the letters black to match all the other trim.

So...what you are saying...

TO BADGE or NOT TO BADGE...that is the question?

Or 2B or not 2B is that the question? Sounds like this is getting 2B a little too crazy!
