How about these on my MY/B

Been looking for the right 7 spoke wheel, and I have pretty much decided to go with these Motegi Racing FF7. I had some of their wheels on my Civic and was very pleased. Let me know what you think.

Those would look nice in the right size.

Good point.

17x7 running 205/45/17, was the first size combo I was considering. What combos of 18 are others seeing that works well on the MINI?

Not sure about lowering the car yet, but that may be in it's future. After the wheels.

I ran 215/35/18 on 18x7.5 SSR Comps. That worked well for me. I was going to change to an 18x8 with 215/40/18 setup (Tire size looks good and people are running it without rubbing) but decided on something else.

If I were you I would go with a 215/40/18 and lower the car 2 inches.

Someone on here is rolling those on 19's. He previously had 17s and showed me both and you could really tell a difference. The spokes made the 17s look like pin wheels. I'd definitly shoot for 18s.

I bought a set of the FF7's for my car. I bought them on line without seeing them on the car (expensive mistake). After putting them on, I decieded that they just didn't do it for me (didn't like the lip for one). A week later I bought some 18" Enkei J10's. I think with these wheels as with my Enkies, an 18 vs an 17 is a huge difference in the look not that I think you should go with an 18. I've seen the Enkei's J10's in a 17 at AMVIV and really didn't like the look. The main thing is that I will always make sure I see the wheel "in person" on the car before buying. I made sure of this when I bought my 16" Rotas and the Enkei's as well.
