snow tire question??please help

(i know nothing about tires) so i have after market rims and tires and i plan on putting snow tires on my stock rims because the run flats are pretty bald. but i could not find any 205/45/17 snow tires(for cheap), but i did find 205/50/17. and i know that it is like maybe an inch bigger, so do u think i will have any issues running the bigger snow tire????? thanks guys

I actually found it cheaper to get a new set of 15" wheels and Blizzaks from TireRack, then it was to get 17" snow tires for my current wheels.

As long as you have a stock suspension you should be fine. If your car is lowered more than an inch you might have rubbing issues.
