The leaves may have all fallen off the trees by the middle of November, but that doesn't mean it's not a great time for a late autumn drive!

Let's meet at Pleasant Ridge County Park, 4232 Highway 11, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, 17 November and motor up to Black Mountain together for lunch at My Father's Pizza and Pasta. My Father's Pizza is legendary for their great food. And the roads around Black Mountain are legendary for their twisties!
Let me know by next Friday (16 November) if you're planning to join us.

Can't make this one. I know it will be fun and great time of year. Alot of us in Charlotte are committed to the International Car Show and also a Toy drive car show combined. Have fun and be safe. Luke

Hopefully I will be joining you CUTiger, go Tigers, I am Transfering to Clemson so I will be seeing alot of yall for the next 3-4 years, wish I could go this time

 

Will be working car show Sat night. Was just up there with Hiking club last week, food at My Fathers Pizza was really good. Nice area and you might still get lucky with color. Have fun.

 

If I don't have work that day, I'll try to get some people to come from Asheville, although it may just be me. I'll let you know by this weekend though if I can make it! I hope to be there!

 

I wanna go riding in the mountains! Sorry maybe next time.

I made a test drive up to Black Mountain yesterday. Yep,we're going to take US 64 to Bat Cave and route 9. The leaves are still beautiful and the route 9 is still twisty!

I should've made better note of the restaurants and gas stations at the I-26/US 64 interchange. I'll run up there again tomorrow to scout out a rendevous point.

Us Greenville MINIacs will meet you Asheville folks at the Waffle House in Hendersonville at 11:00 AM. The Waffle House is located at 100 Sugarloaf Road, just off US 64 north of the I-26/US 64 interchange and next to the Best Western.
