Thanks Hooked On Driving for putting on such a great day, school, and event. You guys/gals did a great job. Sure learned a lot and got rid of a bunch of rust under the belt.

This is a day that every Mini driver should experience, keep an eye out for the next HOD (HOM) event.

 

I had a great time... I was a little apprehensive at first, but what a day! Next track day is scheduled in the Spring of 2008. I would love to see about 30-40 REME members attend (we had close to 20 this time).

The Best Western, although "seasoned" was clean with very large rooms and 3 packs of leaded coffee (& one unleaded) in the room. A wonderful surprise for a motel that looks like it is part of the Bates Chain. I will stay there again next year.... did I say it was really clean?

The entire Hooked on Driving Staff and volunteers were wonderful. I was greeted by knowledgeable and patient coaches on each of my track runs,,, full of great advice. Gary Anderson was our classroom teacher, and he did a phenomenal job in preparing us for our track experiences. I have absolutely no complaints with my first track experience. I look forward to my second one... and yes, Janet will be joining us on the track next year.

I will echo the comments by Peter and Norm. It was the best run event I've been to. Blasting around the track with friends was pure heaven. 125mi and 13.974gals later = 8.945 mi/gal.......and smiles that still won't stop.

 

Due to popular demand, Hooked on Driving will be holding "Hooked on MINI" days twice next year at Thunderhill Raceway Park.

These will be "Mini Only" days dedicated to the MINI/Mini drivers.
