Just wanted to give you all a heads-up that I may be on your side of the Mississippi tomorrow... I'm driving near Prairie du Chien to hang out with some folks gone camping and I may take a trip to Effigy Mounds (always wanted to check that out). So if you see a DS/B MCS with Wisconsin plates, that's most likely me.

(FYI, US76 and CY-X56 are closed south of Marquette for construction...a good stretch for motoring that you'll have to wait and catch on your next visit. )

 

Unfortunately I didn't make it out there 'til 5:00 and I misgauged when sunset was. But the view of the Mississippi on 76 is rather nice. I'll have to set aside time for another trip!

Dunno if any of you were around in Prairie du Chien, but I spotted a Chili Red MC turning onto Hwy 18. Flashed my lights but I don't think the driver saw me. If it was any of you, I'm very disappointed.

Well, it wasn't my Molly. She made it as far north as Iowa City on Saturday, and stayed home Sunday. Sorry to have missed you.

Have you seen any photos of the Madison ride?

We are looking forward to the meet next Saturday, starting at Clinton, Iowa, and ending at Guttenburg. Have you heard about that?
