We were heading back to Nebraska this afternoon and stopped for gas at the Casey's off the NW 86th exit on I-80 in Des Moines.

While I was filling up, a man came up and asked if there was some kind of MINI rally going on because of all the MINI's at the Fairway on Meredith.

I didn't know anything about it, but I asked for directions and drove there, but everyone was long gone.

Anyone here no what the guy was talking about?

I'd be surprised if it was the IA Yahoo-based group, since they just participated in their big fall event in Omaha last weekend...

 

That was it, thanks! I went over to Yahoo! and found the group and saw they went with the British Car Club to Ledges State Park leaving from the Fareway.

I didn't know about the Yahoo! group, so thank you for pointing that out to me!

Will do, thanks! The Michigan State game is in 2 weeks, but we are planning a whirlwind trip, in and out in one day. There may, regrettably, be no time for socializing.
