Installed my H-Sport Rear Lower Control Arms Last Night

The H-Sport arms look to be top notch quality and have integrated zerks for lube. Installation was pretty easy, but did have to get creative with a Universal joint, socket and short extention to get to the top bolts. I set to the stock length by putting the H-Sports on top of the removed stock control arms and putting the bolts in the holes through both control arms. Weight of stock arms 1560 grams and H-Sports are 1300 grams each.

They look great and nice I can now adjust my camber with much more flexiblity.

Has anyone tried one of these to do your own camber?

I use a tape measure for toe, and if I want to be obsessive and confirm it,
then a string and four jack stands (need the string method for individual rear toe anyway).

I use a small steel rule and a $12 combination square for camber.
Oh, and a calculator, too.

If the surface is not completely level, then you gotta turn the car around
and average the two measurements. Gets the same results as the
multi-hundered dollar equipment.

Well for the 1st time tonight I got the Mini on 3 wheels with the stock sport suspension and H-Sport lower control arms. Came around a sharp 90 degree corner at around 25 MPH (I think) and felt the rear get unweighted with the rear inside corner come off the ground but never oversteered. Was actually pretty fun..hehe

How could you tell that you had a wheel in the air?

The whole inside rear was very very un-weighted, light, & tilted...but without 3rd party evidence...could just need an **** calibration.

Regardless felt "planted" and in control

good for you. When put on my springs, sway bar and control arms... I went for a drive and made myself sick. I don't get motion sickness, but I did after that ride. I wanted to make sure everything was locked down and in place. Keep motoring.
