Hi - I searched but couldnt find anything along these lines so first time creating a topic here goes!

I have in the long wait for my beloved pepe researched all the major car ins coys and really am not finding major difference in price... being new to chicago thought I would ask for recommendations based on other mini owners experience with claims and service.

Any recommendations? thanks much

 

I have been with Progressive for 2 years. I'm very happy with them. Done everything online. My rate goes down every 6 months and my one claim was handled very well for an INS company, best part, even after the claim my rate went DOWN again.

Plus they only check your driving record back one year, that helps me big time. I'm happy with them and have no plans of changing, even after looking at other companies.

 

i have country insurance and i couldn't be happier. my agent, john, did everything he could to lower my rate for me.

i currently have the maximum coverage you can get and am paying what i used to pay for "decent" insurance with my old car.

he also makes house calls!!! how nice is that?!

 

Been with State Farm longer than I can remember. They promptly fixed my MCS after a chance meeting with a deer a few years ago with MINImal problems.

 

Ditto with 'pdflint'. Been with State Farm forever..... Got hit by a 'blinking horse' on 80/94 in Indiana during the MTTS. Was able to get it fixed at MY CHOICE of bodyshops.... {Hint: If you have a favorite paint shop, make sure that your insurance allows work by that company}
