Well I got back a few hours ago.

Anyone that hasn't done this needs to. I can't even begin to describe how much fun this is. Everything you thought your MINI could do, multiply it buy 10 and your just getting started.

Big thanks to Phil for the invite, and to my instructor Chris. I had no idea what a MINI was capable of till today.

John, glad you took advantage of this. I really wanted to do it but was commmitted to the car show. Took 3rd, beat our by a coupe of nicely restored originals. You got any rubber left on your tires? Thought you knew how to drive til them ole boys showed you better, huh? Also a big thanks to Phil Wicks and his staff for this last minute offer. Way, Chris and all you guys thank for what you do for the MINI community! Luke, Prez Mini Motoring Club of Carolinas. Next year let us know in advace and will try not to have our Annual Meeting the same weekend!

Hey Jon, glad you had fun. Remember next year stickier tires and your fun with skyrocket. I put the time sheet on my pic gallery if anyone wants to take a look.

Hey Chris thanks again, Yeah thats me at the bottom. OK got a little nervous being in the car by myself for the first time. It really is amazing how much you can learn in just one day. And then the ride with Chris let me see just how much more you can do. Just an awsome day, and highly recommended.

Chris, saw the lap times only one under 2 minutes but everyone else did an impressive job and John you did great for 1st time on street tires. Dana F. from Hendrick Mini did a good job also. Luke

That sub 2 minute lap time was provided by the weekend's token Corvette.

I could see the difference in your driving the track...Nice improvements and on those skinny 15"ers. And.....you were only there for day two. Not too shabby. Chris will make you hit those apexes, LOL
