I was going to replace the factory horns with a set of Hella horns. Has anyone done this, and if so, and advice.

I heard they dont last long.

 

They work great! and sound good ... don't last? haven't heard about that .....

 

Anyone have a link to an audio file of the horn sound?

 

I was thinking of the air horns, nevermind.

 

i did it...

had them for almost 8 months, and still cooking. I only cut one side of the horns, so my horn is the stock high one, and the hella's. I have heard of them blowing out, but not for me. I recommend them highly!
