What to do at the dealer when you pick up the car

Ordered the 07 MCS and I wanted to see if people had advice for a checklist to go through when you go to the dealer to pick up the car. I just don't want to get screwed because you see the car and I know I will not care about anything but taking it home. I can guarantee that has happened before. If anyone knows of previous posts in the past that discuss this topic could you link it. Thanks!

also check the paint! I went over the car quickly due to the excitement and didn't notice 25 or so black spots underneath the clear coat on the bonnet. It is being taken care of now, but make sure you check for little things as well.

I'm definitely going to bring a checklist and make sure to go through each one. Im spending a lot of money on this so I'm going to make sure its right before I sign anything

It does not matter what is on the list, if you're not willing to walk away, and wait for the car to be 100%. I was stupid, and signed all of the paperwork before I even saw the car. lucky for me, my only problem was a missing 2nd key.

There was a piece of plastic missing from behind the seat, that I noticed after getting home. They said stop down and took it off another MINI and handed it to me. That works. Other than that the MINI was absolutely clean, perfect, full tank of gas, and a joy.

You have to make sure that you bring your nice shoes to drive home with.
