R52 Cool Blue is now history...
Go Blimey - Go Blimey - Go Blimey.
Wooo Hooo. Now I just have to wait for about 20,000 other people to total their CoolBlue cabrios, and I'll have something RARE...
Never would I really wish such a thing on a fellow MINI owner...

Wanna fight!?
hehehee
I'm looking forward to a couple of years from now when you drive up and everyone says "what is THAT color?!?" like some of the early colors... I wonder how many CoolBlue cabrios made it to the US? I guess it was the most popular cabrio color? But still, a lot more coupes than cabrios...
How would one find out how many cool blue cabrios have been sold in the US?
I don't know if that is possible without having a press credential and contacting MiniUSA. Maybe my son (high school TV station) can call them?

I was just looking at the MINIUSA configurator today and saw that CB is no longer an option, and wondered when it happened - luckily, this thread was recently bumped up. Never occurred to me when I specced the MINI that I would have a colour that would go the way of Silk Green, Electric Blue, and Velvet Red, among others. Almost went with BRG or HO when I saw the CB "paint chip" at the dealership - it wasn't as striking as the photographs I'd been seeing. But I decided to go with my guts, and no regrets - CB was definitely the best choice.
