I put in my order today!
I should be getting my production number within a day or two.
Can't wait to start checking my progress.

My local dealership is Universal Mini in Los Angeles. They treated me tons better than New Century VW where I "was" going to get a car from.
I'm looking forward to joining the mini ranks on the road.

 

Congrats. You should be able to find a thread for your production week number and be able to follow your ship's progress as it brings your MINI over. There are some good web cams at the Panama Canal, always fun to see your ship go through.

Well, I sort of listed the options when I posted my first hello when I joined...
but hey, I'd be glad to post again.

Okay, here we go:
BRG Mini Cooper S Manual
White roof, white bonnet stripes, chrome mirror caps
Sport package - DSC, Xenon headlights, 17" Crown spoke wheels
Premium package - sunroof, MFD and leather steering wheel, auto A/C
Black/Grey leatherette sport seats, the silver checkered interior
Also added on the chrome bonnet scoop.

I'm hoping that since it is a "simple" build it will go thru pretty fast.

So far...I have yet to see a BRG/W MCS with white bonnet stripes that has the chrome scoop. Seems like BRG/anything is pretty uncommon..tho I have seen a couple around town (LA). Perhaps I will be unique?

I don't care if it clashes with the stripes; it just looks too plain without the extra chromey goodness. (Though I'm wondering if it'd be possible to get away with the white sport stripes and the chrome scoop as they'd be running right through it.)

Chrome is cool. I would have prefered the white top myself as well, but when I spec-ed out what I wanted they already had one in all BRG on it's way and were able to intercept it for me and deliver it the following week. Pretty slim odds, too, as I ordered it with the LSD and Premium package and not much else.
