Umpqua Minis fun run
First off, my apologies to the PDX Mini club for highjacking their posting area, but I thought this was the best visibility spot for Mini owners in Oregon.
DOUGLAS COUNTY: The Umpqua Mini club has organized a road trip Saturday, Sept. 15, from Roseburg to Crater Lake and back.
All area Mini Cooper owners are invited to join in. The group will meet at 9 a.m. at Dutch Bros. Coffee, 2460 Stewart Parkway.
There will be stops along the way for group photos. Lunch will be at either Crater Lake or Diamond Lake. Drivers can bring a picnic lunch or food can be bought from the lodge.
There is no charge for the trip. The admission to Crater Lake is $10 per vehicle.
The Umpqua Mini club, online at www.umpquamini.com, is an informal group that formed about a year ago to organize fun drives throughout Douglas County. The last outing was to Winchester Bay in June.
Information: John at (541) 677-0478.

Thanks so much. I'll send in an application next month to officially join you folks and take advantage of your end-of-the-year special.
I'm just glad the Cycle Oregon bicyclists are up at Crater Lake today. I'm not sure we'd want to dodge all of them on Saturday. Although we would have guaranteed ourselves plenty of waves as we passed them.

Too late. The check's in the mail. But it may not get there until October, when the rates go down.

That's cool looking - makes me wish I'd gotten the NAV.
Thought I would post here since Sowellman already paid for this thread...
A big thanks to all who let me drool over your MINI's yesterday. Nice people and great looking cars - put a smile on your face just to see the little group (gaggle, covey, ?? you pick from http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/about/faqs/animals/names.htm (what are MINI's anyway? - but I digress) ).
I hope you all had a great day motoring and hope to be with you next time.

Here's our group photo from Saturday. It was taken at an overlook to Diamond Lake, before we reached Crater Lake.
