I've fallen in love with the wheels (amidst other things) on the new Sidewalk package. One problem. I don't have a sidewalk car. Instead of getting a new car which my 'want' says yes to but my 'need' and wallet says no to I thought I might get some new wheels after a while. I want to stick with 17 inch wheels. I also think I'd like to go lighter (which shouldn't be hard) - I have the s-spokes (I think) BTW. Suggestions. I saw a few on Tirerack that I liked but I'm really not sure what to look for or what to avoid. I'm not going to be tracking it but do like some 'spirited cornering' now and then on my commute

I ended up going with Flik FTD's in matte black. If cheap is what you're going for, check Edge Racing. But, be forewarned. The paint is kinda crappy. If better quality paint is what your searching for or have the cash, go to Tire Rack or Out Motoring (which I should have done). The paint from Edge lacks around the hub center and back of the spokes. If I so desire, I could get the tires dismounted, have the wheels stripped, powdercoated, and remounted and end up about the same as just buying better painted wheels.

 

I was thinking about the OZ chrono HT. Any thoughts on the brand or the wheel?
