Been looking for wheels for the past 3 months... HELP!!

Hey guys,

Yup, been looking since I bought the car. I'm ready to buy now but still haven't found a set of wheels that I think are 'perfect' for the car. I like the mesh wheels but it seems too many coopers are running around here on them. Usually, my standards are very high and that narrows my selection too much. So I decided to let loose a little and look at wheels that really didn't fit what I had in mind before.

Chrome. I can already hear the stomachs turining. First I'll say this is on a jet black MCS with the interior/exterior chrome package. I've never been a fan of chrome but this car turns it into something sexy.

Did a couple quick photoshops of the rims I liked... wanted opinions..

Motegi SX5 chrome.

Enkei GF1 Anthracite Machined

Whatcha think?

First off, these are very well done Photoshop jobs

Of the two, I'm liking the Enkeis.

The Motegi's give the car a more "bling" look. The Enkeis look more traditional and common.

How about Motegi DP20?
It's a mesh look, much unlike any others and can be had in blk, silver, or chrome?

Here's a configerator to see them

Nice photoshop job....do you take requests? I have an astroblack with some chrome on it. You can see my gallery for one more wheel option. BTW, I live in NoVa and a member of DCMM. Are you also in DCMM?

Yup, I'm in Northern VA. Alexandria to be exact. I'll hit the clubs website up.

Feel free to reccommend wheels. Right now I am looking for something to replace my 17" runflats. Figured I'd just replace it with another 17". I was looking at black with a machined lip for quite some time as well. Hell, the more I look the more I don't know what the hell I want.

And out of the two I posted I like the Enkeis better.

Thanks!

Oh, I may take a photoshop request. Can't make any promises though. The key is finding a picture of the car and rim that will initially look good together, meaning the angles at which the pictures were taken of each are either similar or exactly the opposite..

I really don't see how they could redrill a CH to 4 x 100 without destroying the appearance of the wheel. I'll continue the search for something similar/the wait for BBS to bring them out in 4 x 100.

thanks! I too think the mini looks geat on it's own, but I would like an aero kit and painted arches for it. hope to add that, wheels, and some rally lights after winter and call it good. Once I'm finished with all that I'll save for the M3 and my plans for it; Technique Tuning stage 2 turbo kit! I'llbe shooting fo 450rwhp, but I won't say no to 400

I've been eyeballing those for quite a while and they're probably what i'm going end up going with in the spring. Not quite a CH, but close enough. Look pretty decent on the Mini as well

I know I stated not wanting ASA AR1's or AR2's but after this photoshop I'm not so sure about that.

This is 17" AR2's - machined with anthracite accents.

So far I'm liking this option best out of the photoshops I've posted. Good price. Can't get over how good a mesh rim looks on these cars.
