Also a fundraiser benefiting the American Red Cross raffle. The website really doesn't explain much.
It gives me no idea what will happen there or at what times.
What is the purpose of registering my car?
Can I bring my car and just park it and look at the cars on display?

dlopez8a, if you just want to look and you can find a parking place in the parking lot. If you want to show your Mini with the rest of us, you have to register and be there between 8-9am. All the Mini's will be parked together and awards for regular Cooper and for S models and last year they had another award which Carol the Greenville VP won. I think our club took home at least 5 awards maybe more. You have a cool Mini so register it and come on. You don't have to stay at the hotel you can just do the car show saturday. They will also have autocross and a rally on sunday. Think the autocross is all days, but each you have to sign up for.

I plan to drive down from Charlotte, just for the day, on Saturday.

hey all i'm not going to be able to come after all I Best Buy wants me to start training Sat. 12-4 and Sun 3-7 and I just found out my folks are coming down from Ohio

 

Ann and I are going for tomorrow only. If anyone wants to meet and caravan down we'll be at the NE quadrant of the Sam Wilson/I-85 interchange around 8:00 AM. That's the 1st exit past I-485 going toward SC. Our radios can only do basic channels, so 7 will be it. Google says it's a little over an hour from there to BMW (about 75 miles.)

I'll be there, too. I'll call Bill (NascarMINI) in the morning to see if he wants to hook up with us, or if he's already there. ;-) At the last meet he called me from the destination while I was barely on my way--Bill: punctual, Dave: late!
