I am in the process of shipping a 1980 Mini 1000 from the UK to US. We live in Missouri and firstly wanted to know, has anyone else done this? is Baltimore the nearest port to us? Does anyone know of a good (meaning cheap) ground transporter to get the car to us in MO from the port?
We found a reasonable freight company in the UK, but again, anyone know of a good one (again, that means cheap) !!

Don't go for cheapest transit. I've heard some horror stories on the Porsche 356 board I also haunt. Remember how much it costs to fix the damage...
