Interesting Deals Gap video clip
By now most of you know that the TN HP has stepped up enforcement of traffic laws on the Dragon to the point of harassment - no need to beat me up, it's discussed in here. www.tailofthedragon.com
Regardless, a buddy sent me this link. There are at least two semis on the Dragon. That probably explains why the trail vehicle is so nonchalant on using the entire road and BOTH shoulders. It's not brand new, but the point being made is still the same. It's simply amazing watching the trail 18-wheeler blow all - and I mean all - of the corners. Think about how it might be if you were coming the other way, in your Mini or on a bike - or in another 18-wheeler for that matter..

Yeah, that video has been around a little, and serves as proof that to drive the Dragon means to expect something around the corner, which is why I like to drive it at night. You get a little warning!

Back before the Interstate were finished 129 was a great short cut from K-Town to HotLanta and I drove it all the time in 18 wheeler. So what we only had 38and 40 foot trailers back then. Also married a gal from Topton just east of Robbinsville and ran my 400 GTO 4 Speed with big daddy glass packs all over those roads and maybe thats why the Dragon just don't impress me too much. I know of some other roads worst than the Dragon with little to no traffic on down the road a bit.
