Here is an in car video we shot during 2 paced laps at Watkins Glen today. There were about 23 minis total there. Was a great time. I look forward to some laps when I can let Bruto run free!

Interesting, looks like a great track to push a few laps. The video was no passing with what maximum speed? Who was driving the film MINI, he was being very patient.

 

max speed was supposed to be 55 I think I hit 70 a few times. I was the driver, I had to open up some gaps to have little bursts of speed. It was a bit of a tease to want to go much faster. The runflats dont grip well though... the engine has more power then they can hold.

 

I suspected, surprising restraint. How many miles do you have on the run-craps? Are you going to change out for winter and then pust some decent UHP tires on in the Spring?

It would be intesting to see this same vid. after you had the chance to really warm up the MINI and some performance tires.

 

3000 on the runflats, they are about 50% on the fronts maybe 80% on the rears. Definately swapping them out next summer. I am trying to find some cheap rims for snows. No luck so far.

 

I'm not trying to steal anyone's thunder, but here's some in-car footage from my Cooper at speed at Watkins Glen. Well, as "at speed" as one can get with 115 hp. :D
