JCW wheel trim

has anyone sucessfully put holes in their JCW steering wheel trim to fit a mfsw? I want to buy them, but i dont want to loose the mfsw (well, i dont care aobut he cruise, but i wont loose the radio controls). I think i could probably do it, but has anyone gone there before me?

Thanks alot

I was under the impression that using the JCW steering wheel had no effect on the functions of the MFSW. As far as I know its not a complete replacement to the steering wheel.

yeah, the wheel is fine, but the carbon fiber bits to replace the silver parts on the three spokes is not available for mfsw. These bits are not included with the wheel

Thanks

You retain your MFSW function by transferring your current silver parts to the new steering wheel. I've seen a picture of someone getting the carbon look by applying vinyl.

i wasnt getting the wheel, at least not yet, just the trim, and ill admit it, i mostly want the JCW logo, and i really dont like the silver, never have. If i could get a water transfer of the JCW logo, i would just paint my trim, infact, i may just paint it anyway.

Thanks

The JCW logo is only on the center spoke piece, which doesn't affect MFSW. I think all the JCW spoke pieces are sold separately (not as a 3 piece set). Another option is leather wrapped.
