This tidy little car yearns for a slick, retro roof rack, something like those marketed for the new Bug. Has anyone seen such a thing? Has anyone had any experience putting holes in that lovely smooth top? Is there an alternative to punching pins through the top? Thanks

 

I don't know much about them because I personally don't have one, but at a meet and greet last weekend there was a Chili Red S with a Mini bike rack on the roof.....it looked much better than I thought it would, although the couple who owned the car said the bikes stuck out over the top of the roof.....you could probably check it out on miniusa.com because I think they have them in the motoring gear section.....
