Better link than mine...

So 2 questions:
a) Do we think this will come to the US? (even as the next JCW?)
and
b) how quickly do you think someone will street register this beastie?

A: I doubt it will come here. I'd be surprised if it does because as we know, most Americans can't drive without talking on the phone/texting/eating/reading newspaper/having sex.
B:If it does make it here, you'll prolly won't have to wait too long. Someone will slip a person at the notary $50 and make a quick friend.

And according to published times, a GP is still faster.

the idea

was to make a car for a race series here, but I don't know if the interest is enough to justify the builds. They need to get commitments for about 75 units (I think), and aren't at that number yet. The price was to be reasonable (I think less than $40k) and while it may not be as fast as a GP, it does come with a roll cage and lots of other stuff. If I had the cash, I'd get one if they were to be built.... 25 years from now I'd be able to enter it into the Monterey Historics!
