Excessive law enforcement at the Dragon
Excessive law enforcement at the Dragon
Hi y'all,
before planning any more trips to the Dragon, check out what is happening by going to the Tail of the Dragon website. It appears as tho' TN is out to stop tourism in the mountains of TN. They spent last weekend harassing any one who even looked crosseyed.
Check out the website and maybe spend your money in NC. The Cherhola Drive is wonderful and it is in NC.

I have been watching the activity up there closely in putting together MSSD. I check the reports daily, and it seems as though they are scaling back to next to none during the week, then going crazy on the weekend. With that being said, November is a long time from now, and there's alot that can change. I agree though that there are many other roads in that area that allow for spirited driving. You just can't lose in that part of the state. You really can't. Now, if you driving illegally in some way, there's ALOT to lose. We just make sure we dot all our i's and cross all our t's, and listen to the beep-beep of the radar detector....
