Which interface? OEM?

Anyway, if you had one wire disconnect, then I suggest that you re-check your work as it sounds like you might have yet another loose connection.

Lots of times this can fixed with a simple battery reinitialization.

1. Remove battery cables, negative first
2. Touch battery cable terminals together (away from battery) for +5 seconds, a small spark is normal as this is stored power

draining from the system.
3. Allow cables to remain disconnected for about 5-7 minutes
4. Reconnect battery cables onto battery, negative last.

Let me know if these steps correct the problem

I jsut tried do reinitialzation of the battery and it didn't work, the wire that was disconnected when i pulled the oem radio apart was the connected to the ipod box whick goes to the radio and the ipod cord. I checked all the other wires and they seem to be connected. I even checked the fuse and that seemed fine. not sure what else to check.

If you are the original owner, BMW/MINI parts have a 2 year warranty. Simply bring your MINI to a local dealer and have it inspected.

As long as you have your original receipt, MINI will inspect this and replace it at no charge if it is found to be defective.

We are located in Huntington Beach, but we do not perform work on vehicles in-house. If you would like to replace the MINI kit with a DICE, we can help.

We do offer mobile installation service as well.
