Detailers Paradise/Prima Wash Station: Do It Yourself Car Wash Info

You may have noticed the "Detailers Paradise Do It Yourself Car Wash" on the MITM event schedule. If so, you may also be wondering what it's all about!

During our "staffed hours" (listed below) we will provide the following supplies for anyone to use free of charge:
  • Wash Buckets
  • Prima Mystique Auto Wash soap (btw, this is verrry concentrated! only 2 squirts per bucket)
  • Wash Mitts (to be shared)
  • Hoses and high-pressure water
**Please note: this car wash is B.Y.O.T. aka Bring/Buy Your Own Towel. Although we will not be providing complimentary drying towels, we will have them available for sale if you can't/don't bring your own.

During our "staffed hours" we will provide demos (on your car of course) of:
  • Prima Slick quick detail spray
  • Prima Hydro wax-as-you-dry spray
  • Prima Clarity glass cleaner
  • Paradise Microfiber Glass Cleaning Cloth
We can also help assess any paint problems you might have and/or any other car care related questions.

Richard Lin (aka OctaneGuy) and/or I will be on site during the staffed hours.

During our "staffed hours" we will have the following supplies available for sale:

Prima Mystique auto wash, 16oz
Prima Epic wax, 16oz
Prima Slick quick detail spray, 16oz
Prima Hydro wax-as-you-dry spray, 16oz
Prima Nero vinyl/plastic protecant & dressing, 16oz
Prima Wheel Shield cleanser & sealant, 12 oz
Prima Clarity glass cleaner, 16oz
Monster Fluffy Buffing Cloth
Waffle-Weave Drying Towel

In addition, from ShowCarDetailing and Richard:
Black WOW

OneGrips
SCD Porter Cable Polishers

Almost all of the Prima and microfiber items will be available for MITM special prices- some discounted just a smidge and others a good bit.

Car Wash "Staffed Hours" are:

Thursday: 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am – Noon

NOTE: Although the complimentary supplies will not be available outside of the above hours, we are going to try to keep the water available by keeping the high-pressure hoses going earlier and later than the above hours.

We will try to have the water turned on by 7am Friday-Sunday.
We will turn off the water between 6:30 and 7:00pm Thursday-Saturday.

We look forward to helping you keep your MINI clean and sparkling during MITM!

-Heather

Heather - Thanks for attending MITM '07! You ran one mean wash station. I'll be the first to admit that I probably over indulged in your freewares since I did wash the MITM four times in the three days of MITM. But to be fair, one of the four times was before you were even there so that shouldn't count!
Anyway, again thanks for the free stuff and manning ... er ... womaning the wash station!
Can't wait to use more free Mystique next year.

My (our) pleasure! It was fun being there in person this time.

I can't believe you washed your car four times! Well, ok, yes I can. You have a sickness... but a good one!
