Hi,

Our Mini arrived in March without the MFSW we ordered as has happened to many other people. My MA never bothered to tell us until I came to pick it up. I would guess they didn't want to risk us reordering and delaying their profit! So far the dealership has been telling us that there may be a campaign to retro fit them for the affected customers, but they have nothing yet. I've seen a couple of posts stating that people were taking their Minis in or were scheduled to have this done, but can anyone confirm that they have a real, live, functioning MFSW retrofitted? If so do you have a service bulletin number or something? My dealer is not being very proactive about this. I don't think anything will ever happen unless we press the issue.

When the car was accepted without the MFSW I would think the chances of anything being done about it became very slim. Did you get anything in writing.

I merged the original thread with this one (and deleted the duplicate post). Everything's in the correct place now.
