R50/53 Question about Strut Towers
Question about Strut Towers
...and left him crying by the side of the road like a little girl.
Okay.
That was a lead-in.
I didn't really leave him crying.
My question is; I've read about our strut-towers mushrooming, and am curious as to the symptoms. Emily (02 MCS) has developed a "***** (clank?)" noise occasionally when hitting the un-avoidable potholes that breed like rabbits here in New England. Are our bushings prone to problems? Loose nut behind the wheel? Do I need to change my Halogen fluid?
Thanks,
Hegira

People with relevant info to your questions will be more likely to read your thread in the first place if you use the proper subject line -- there are probably lots of people who can speak about mushrooming and symptoms who are not even bothering to open the "so I raced a ..." threads anymore.
