While I cruisin' up the 101 Fwy last week, well i should say, caught in bumper to bumper traffic, my 2005 HB MCS turned 20k miles. I managed to snap a pic with my cell phone...


These first 20k have been full of fun, modding and learning('bout forced induction engines & all the quirks of these little beasties) I can only imagine the next 20k. Looking forward to it.....

btw, my '06 DS JCW only has 3k on it, gotta drive that one more!

It was one of those speed up and stop moments, hehe.

Since posting, ive been reMINIscing about the day i got the car(1-21-05) and all the mods.....some went well, some not so good and some needed a little persuasion.....

Its like i have another kid, hahaha....

 

Wait a minute.... you got the car..... over TWO years ago and you are just now hitting 20,000 miles?
My car will be 1 yr. old in two weeks and I have 17,000 miles on it.....
One of us is doing something wrong.

 

Hehe, I work 5min from home....not the common thing in L.A.

I take plenty of weekend canyon runs and the occasional trip to San deigo or NorCal and a Vegas run once a year. But i rotate between two MINI's so that might have something to do with it......And i gotta say, sometimes it hard to decide which one to drive...

 

The beauty of driving in L.A. - it's bumper to bumper, but it's still going 60. Though, even that seems a little slow for that area.

 

Well no matter the reason, it's obscene!

 

No kidding... The last time I was in L.A., we were bumper to bumper doing at least 90... :impatient

 

WOW...43.1 miles on the trip meter and you've used half a tank of fuel

 

My car just turned 29 last week. 600 more miles until she hits the big 3-0

 

Picked mine up 4/26/06 it now has just over 23k whooo Hoooo!
