Out of break-in and to the track he goes!! We went to the Southwest Solo2 Divisional in Pearsall, Texas over the weekend.

Wiki did great and a good time was had by all. I got a lot of comments about racing with the paper tag still on!!

From a paint issue to the track! Now that's a new twist! That trip back to Austin helped you get some miles for the break-in period. Did you take the back roads?

 

I see a little light between the pavement and that left rear tire in photo 2!

It was just me and my husband in GS, so we were 1 and 2 (he's faster...)

We PAXED 1st and 5th tho (out of 78ish) - Day 2 was in the rain. Surprisingly, the runflats did great!

We sold our SM2 Miata in '05; I drove a friend's 2005 MINI last year and did well in it at the Pro Finale (2nd in L1 at the Finale, 3rd for the year in points). We were lamenting not going to Nationals this year when we decided to get the MINI for one last kick in GS.
