Anybody have what I think are JCW leather seats but with red stitching all along the edges? How much did these cost? I didn't see those as an option during purchase...and photos would be great...Thanks in advance.

these are not available in the US but are made by Recaro. The aftermarket Recaro Sportster CS is the same seat, minus the headrest and MINI specific base

sure, but GP only and $3200/seat + shipping from Europe and import duty. If you were lucky enough to get a set, you'd be looking at well over $7k. There are better options stateside (like normal Recaro's and an upholstery shop to do alcantara inserts or red stitching)

im not positive but i think that option was only available for convertibles

 

Those were the dark blue leather seats that were available on the convertible.... And they have orange stitching not red!

 

Well that clears that up for us color blind NAMers.

 

BTW keep in mind that there are/were also JCW rear seats.

I eventually hope to get a full set of JCW seats (front and rear) in Lapis Blue leather... which yes, they were available in.

 

there are many options to get your seats recovered in new leather, plenty of color and finish choices, including color, perforation, and contrast stitching.

the mini dealer in indy offers custom leather seat recovering for ~1,600, i'm sure you could get it done for less if you went straight to the source.
