Orciari gauge surround

Anybody installed one?
Just got mine, to paint body color, and it doesn't seem to want to fit. Do the tabs sticking out the back need to come off?

Do the two Orciari gauge surrounds fit the 2006's? Everytime I have found them for sale, it always lists 2005 as the lastest year. Did MINI change something between 2005 and 2006?

BMP design says only up until 2005. So, my new question is: are there any other central dash surrounds that you know of?
