Opinions Wanted on Wheels..

I would like to see what you guys like better. Since the MINI is new to me, and I have only seen a handful in person. I'm not sure what wheels will look the best. I have an 04 MCs Solid Jet Black. I will be keeping stock tire size for the time being. Theyre all similar, and i like the deep lips....just need help narrowing things down a bit. And dont post if you're going to say you dont like any of them.

First Choice:

Numero Dos:

Option C:

Thanks for any input.

They all look good to me but why don't you go with the wheels you like?

It's your money ; )

I like all 3, just kind of hoping maybe someone has these or something similar that they can share, becaues until theyre mounted on the car, I have no idea how they'll look.

Did you try www.tirerack.com? That'll at least give you an idea.

My vote is for #2, but then again I've always loved the BBS "Tuning Fork" style wheels.

Out of those three I would have to go with choice 2. In my opinion I absolutely do not like 1, but thats just me, maybe you do, which is perfectly fine. Now choice "c" is my second choice, but it might look a little bit more tuner, not necissarily "rice" by any means, but I have always been more partial to choice to and the look of LM style wheels.

And I like #1, what wheels are those, great deep lip? Would look great on Jet Black and possibly my DS R56. :-)

I'd say #2 as well. I'm not sure the thin, black, mulit-spoke look is great for the MINI IMO.

Do you know price and weight on those?
If you get them, post pics -- I'd like to see them on a JB

# 2 me too. I wish the wheel people could come up with a better "universal"
and leave out those extra lug holes. Thats just me. Nice looking wheel tho.

These all came from Ebay right? I have been looking for awhile and I see these pics up there all the time. Anyway, in case you did not know, the model numbers are (A)236 (B)? (C)333. I think (B) is discontinued. They have others like it on their site, but not that particular one. Also on the site they show to make them with only 4 lug holes, but the Ebay guys do not have them. I have asked. I have seen (C) on a Mini somewhere here recently, but I'm drawing a blank right now. Did not look good IMHO. Hope this helps.

wow, I wasn't really expecting such a consensus from everyone. I ranked them 2, 1, and 3. So its good im in agreement with wat seems to be the best choice. I will be purchasing them tomorrow, and yes they are from eBay. I know I am taking a chance by buying something like this on eBay, but *knocks on wood* I've had nothing but good experience so far.

The price is just too good to pass up. I will revive this thread from the dead by posting pics when they come in and when they are installed. Anything should be better than the chrome rims i have right now.

well I ordered the wheels today. Turns out i didnt get any of the 3 I posted above, lol. but what i got is very similar to the second picture. The only difference really is that the wheels I ordered have one less fork.(less is more, lol...plus theyll show off my painted calipers a lil more) here is some pics. They ship out tomorrow and i'll cross my fingers for them to arrive by the end of the week!

The wheels you got I think are the best of what you posted
The number of spokes or webs are divisable by the number of lugs!

I know that sounds odd but "almost" no matter what I could not run 5, 7, or 10 spoke / web (with 4 lugs) and lug nut covers are for non agressive cars

what size should i have gotten? I just stayed with stock size because I didn't want to lose any sidewall. plus I get to keep the tires I already have.
soemthing like 18 may be in the future, but i felt if i went that route, i would then be forced to lower the car etc etc. not prepaired for that kind of investment just yet...didnt wana lose any speed either.
