DSC: Any effect on gas mileage?

Does DSC have any effect on gas mileage? The car seems "looser" when it's not on and the exhaust is a bit louder. When DSC is on, the car seems "tighter" and the exhaust is a bit quieter.

I drive the same stretch of road/highway every day...same amount of traffic, same speed.

I seem to go through gas more quickly when the DSC is off, so that's the reason for my question.

I would expect the opposite DSC will activate brakes as it see's fit this should have some minimal negative impact on Milage Just my opinion based on a poor thought process

DSC should have no effect on normal driving. It should only engage when the tires start slipping.
