Any idea what this could be from? It sounded like there was an oscillating noise coming from the left rear. Also car has 32k, small dent by the mini badge on the hood, asking 18k? I am mainly worried about the oscillating noise and of course if I were to get real serious I would get PPI performed. How much should I offer?

 

I had a noise like this and it was due to the runflat tire wear - they seem to get noisy when they get worn.
Check all the tire wear, insist on new ones if they're worn down.

 

May be the tire, may be the wheel bearing. Move that tire to another location and take a test drive and see if the noise moves or stays.
