R50/53 New MINI Owner, need help with Nav DVD
New MINI Owner, need help with Nav DVD
New to this forum. Just bought and love my 2004 Mini Cooper S loaded to the hilt...
I live in a new area of Rio Rancho/Albuquerque and it is not on my Nav DVD.
I am trying to see if there are any cheaper solutions than buying a new disc (2007 version) for $200+
...
Saw some old posts that were a few years old, so that doesn't help... I have heard that other DVD discs (i.e. BMW) may work, but no absolute info (i.e. an actual Mini owner who has tried this).
I have seen a couple of BMW Nav DVDs on e-bay for about $100 and this seems to be the only option I've seen (again, not even sure if they work).
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

All the DVDs come from Navteq...
I think that's the spelling. The BMW ones work fine. But what you'll find is that either you're doing an illegal download of a prirate copy, or you're buying a new one. There's a BMW Nav forum and discs come up for sale there.
