It's a new product and may take at least a few months before US vendors carry them. You can order them from the UK at Newministuff: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=106759

There was a post in the vendor section yesterdfay afternoon about LED tail lights now available. I have no personal experience with the vendor or the product, but here's the link.

When I did the brake light mod on my '03 MC I used LED bulbs because of their low power requirement. Got them at AutoZone.

That bodykit website is selling the same LED taillights (at least in the picture there the same) for £20 less than newministuff, but to me its worth the money cause mikeythemini has always done well for me.

How'd they work - bright enough and right color red? Do they have the instant-on characteristic of LEDs? Any issues?

The brightness looks promising when pictured with the 3rd brake light, but we need a good outside photo in bright daylight, and also viewed from an angle. Note that the turn signals and backup lamp are still standard bulbs (not LED).

Here's the thread on MINI2 with more information and pics: http://www.mini2.com/forum/exterior/...ome-black.html
