Alta vs. Samco intake hose

Is there any difference between the two? ID, fitment. Any comments would be appreciated.

Anybody?

I'm just looking for how well they fit. I remember hearing that the Samco needs some trimming to get right. Is the Alta any better? Owners of either of these hoses, please comment.

Never had the Alta, but i've been running the Samco Sport hose for a while now. It did need a little trimming on the airbox side.

I have the Samco and it is great. It does require a little trimming, but not that much. I got mine for $50 from a local speedshop who ordered it for a customer and could not contact him for a few months.
