My Korea Pictures (Plus Seoul MINI Spottings) - 48 Pictures Inside
Well, as some of you know, I was in Korea at the beginning of June visiting my girlfriend. It has taken me 3 weeks to finally post the pictures, but here they are :taunt: (I hope you enjoy!):
Sitting on a typical Korean street at 11:30PM. Slow shutter speed:

Korean Subway:

Strange, Korean Ice Cream:

Dunkin Donuts, yea baby...a taste of home :taunt::

The greateast piece of chocolate cake ever:

Some damn good sorbet:

A very classy, american diner...in korea (so much nicer than the crappy american diner's in the US):

Something important
:

Quite a Contrast:

One of my friends:

City:

Sunset:

Myself, on a boat:

Me and girlfriend:

More city:

Waterfall:

Testing the limits of my new super wide angle 10-22MM Canon lens:

(Standing right next to the base of this building)

Now onto the exotic and MINI Spottings:

Cayenne Turbo's are VERY Popular in Seoul:

7 Series BMW's are seen every block:

My girlfriend's Dad's S500. Her mom drives a MINI!! What a suprise

I drove down the dealership strip, and saw the Bentley dealership, and Porsche dealership. I saw tons of Maserati's, but didn't get pictures of all of them. There are some very nice cars in Seoul!

Thanks everyone! I had a great time!
Right now I use a Canon Rebel XT. I am looking at upgrading to the 20D or 30D in the future though.
The lenses are also important. In these shots I used either:
Canon 28-135MM Lens
Canon 10-22MM Super Wide Angle Lens
As for the MINI, I have a 05 Jet Black MCS.

Well done Connor!
It's been over 10 years ago since I last worked in Korea and I can see a lot of nice changes there in your photos. Your photos were a nice trip down memory lane. I spent a lot of time driving there from Kangnam-gu down south to the semiconductor factories and it's especially nice to see that the car market has opened up properly now. When I was there, Koreans could only purchase a Hyundai, Kia, or Daewoo cars, that's it. They had a few rebaged Acuras and Mercurys, but those sold for >$100k equivilant in USD.
Man I miss the great food there and the warm hearted people, fun times indeed. I envy you!
