Please Welcome my new CR/B MCS

Went and picked it up yesterday afternoon and did not get home until late so couldn't post last night. I took a couple of pictures in the work parking lot this morning. Already have driven about 150 miles, and will be driving up to Vermont on back roads after work tonight. This car is so much fun, and the grin still has not left my face

Chili Red MCS w/ black roof, mirror, bonnet stripes. 6 spd, Premium Package, Sport Package, Cold Package, LSD, Gotham Gray.

I did not go for a whole lot of appearance options because I like the way it looks as is. The gotham gray is really nice and really makes the stock headliner look very good. It also brightens up the car and makes it feel more roomy.

Very nice ride! Congrats!

The gotham gray DOES look great with the gray headliner! Plus I bet it will be a little cooler than the all black/dark gray interior option.

Congrats and Great Choice. I believe CR/B is the fastest of the two color combo's, but everyone knows DS/DS is the fastest overall

Enjoy

And thank you Skuzzy, for helping me to decide on the Gotham Grey.

I had not posted in a while because I was afraid I would be too whiny. My girlfriend is so glad the wait is over.

nice, I was going to get gotham gray but the book at the dealer said that leatherette was only available with the black, that stinks.

Going old school on us Chaos? You gotta love the classic Mini look. That's why we're here. Now get the thing on some 2 lane New England roads (and not toll roads either)!

Thanks guys. Have been out with it for the last month (minus one week working out of town) enjoying the NE roads. My first trip was to my house in Vermont and took the backroads all the way. So much more fun than the interstate.

Salty, what do you mean leatherette is only available with the black. My car has leatherette.

I actually really like it a lot better than the standard black. Let me know if you want more pics of it and I will take some. Tonight I will be installing the mud flaps.

One more CR/B (Thanks a lot, NAM)

I was just going to post a thread thanking members of this forum for all the information you gave me in making my purchase decision. I have order number for CR/B (no stripes, cloth, sport pkg w/crown spoke, sport suspension, winter, LSD, anthracite, MFSW, auto-dim mirror, auto-on headlights, piano black, gotham gray, PDC, rear fog lamp, clear signal lens). $26,250 (same as MRSP on configurator) @ Winchester MINI - from Paulo Minelli. Looking forward to getting it but the part I like the best was the steady stream of information regarding the choices and options from NAM. Thanks for keeping the information current and the perspective balanced. This is great forum and I guess at this point I can leave BMW forum behind me.
