hey all just wanted to post in here and say hey. i'm new to NAM and new to Mini also. I've placed my order for my first Mini on Friday June 22nd from Mini of Nashville. i've been fighting the urge to buy a mini for over a year now. now that i look back i'm glad i waited cause they added features to the 2007 minis that i really like. i live in decatur alabama and once i get my mini will be looking forward to the get togethers.

i've ordered the premium package with the checkered surface and it's an automatic. can't wait to get it!

that's not to far from me, what time you all plan on being there? by the way where is the dragon been reading about it but haven't did the research to find out what it is yet.

 

Not sure as I'm in a place to welcome since I haven't even moved to the state yet but I'll do it anyway. Hopefully I'll spring myself from Fort Hood soon and head towards Enterpise. Enjoy your Mini!

 

You don't need to do anything but visit our home web page and join from there . The dragon is located on the TN / NC line, not too far from decatur, I would guess about 3 hrs or so but once you get your mini, you will have to make plans to drive over there and do the run for yourself, it's a great road btw, welcome

 

I almost bought from Nashville but they did not have the car I wanted in stock or coming in anytime soon. Memphis did have the exact car with options i wanted. I picked it up on Thurs. FUN FUN. I live in huntsville. Pic in sign.

We have a few members from Decatur since it's not very far away from Huntsville. Several of us from the North Alabama area will be running autocross this coming Sunday at the old airport in Huntsville. Come on down to watch and take a ride or two.

BTW, we'll be doing a dragon run some weekend in the next few months so keep and eye on our site for details and also for locations of where our monthly dinners will be. Hope to see the new MINI when it arrives.

I just noticed that last night after posting my comment. I'll check on it. In the meantime, http://www.magicmini.com runs the forums we use so you can still check out our forums while looking at his site. He keeps a track of Alabama events on his site.

Well I would drive up there but I am 100 miles away & I would never make it after work on a Monday so

 

i hate to do this but the whole time i was thinking that the 18th was on a thrusday. was looking at something and noticed that the 18th is a wednesday and i have church and it starts at 6pm. so i'm going to have to cancel on the dinner.

 

We'll catch you another time, then. You'll have to make a trip up to the Dragon, for sure, though.
