Still having vibrations.. :-(

Hi there,

I know I have posted here before about this but after replacing my H-sport springs with Eibach ones and even replacing the fron shocks, the drivetrain vibrations are still there. And I think its getting worse.. In the pic of my car below and as u can see the car is not that low at all... Gonna take the car to the dealership again tomorrow to see what they have to say.. Anyone come up with a solution for this yet? Will ask them to check the shafts and engine mounts.. Anything else? Thanks in advance...

is it at a certain road speed ? or engine speed ? seperating the two is paramount.

It does not happen at any specific speed or rpm.. It happens under acceleration.. And the harder I push it the worse it gets...

depending on which dealership they are just going to tell you that the change in ride height is the cause and send you on your way with a 60 dollar bill for diagnosing.

I had the same problem when i installed my hsports. Light vibration under acceleration. More specifically at 26 and 53 mph. I just went on a 1200 mile road trip where i was maintaining maximum "legal" speeds for about 6 hours straight and the vibration is now gone.

You are lowered. "Normal" CV vibration on a lowered car. If it bugs you too much you are gonna have to go back to stock. Good luck.

I know about the "slight" vibration when lowered.. But mine is more like a heavy vibration.. It feels like the wheels wanna fall off.. I have checked balancing and alignment and everythings fine..

you have to start testing. It could be anything. If you really are concerned about it go back to stock springs and see if it's still there.

Is your car a 05-06? Could it be a blown passenger side motor mount? There would be oil around/below the bad mount. When it broke it would translate into additiona virbations.

Check your wheel bearings as my driver's side wheel bearing hub was shot and replaced under warranty. I too was worried that the vibration under acceleration was a result of my MCS being slightly lowered. Just jack the front up and test 12 PM and 6 PM play along with 9 PM and 3 PM play. Good luck!
