Hello all,

2008 is looking somewhat hectic. While I have all the best intentions to attend MOTD and run the Brew Swap there's always that chance that something could come up. And I'd hate to see the event not happen just because I wouldn't be able to make it.

Anyway, it'd be nice to have someone to help me run the Swap. And in the event I can't make it they would run the whole show. So obviously, if you are considering this, you need to bear in mind that this involves a fair amount of work.

I can offer no compensation (as I don't even take any money for myself) but would try and offer schwag or some other way of thanks.

I now have a partner in crime for running the Brew Swap. But I'm still looking for volunteers for the night of the event itself. I only ask for an hour of your time but am willing to take more!

Bearslayer is going to be "running" the show the night of the event. Obviously I'll be there and will be helping but I do actually plan to set myself up at a table this year and swap beers with people.

That would be cool. I only have one request, could you give the Beerlympics helpers info on the games that will be played before the event so we understand all of the games we are refereeing?

 

Of course. But you know...last year all the rules for the games were up on the website for MONTHS!

But yeah, sometime soon after the new year I'll be emailing all the competitors with the games and rules and I'll be sure to CC you and Bamatt.
