My dad and I are thinking of taking the MINI's to the autocross in Statesville on Sunday. Registration starts at 7:30 am if you want to race, 1st car goes out at 10 am. We will probably just go to watch and meet some the other MINI people that are bound to be there. If anyone is interested in going or riding along, let us know!

Auto-x at BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg.

 

I've done a couple of AutoX's.... and recently went "just to watch" some of the MINI club mates take on the course....Boy - was that hard!. .. I wanted to be out there too!....

Moral of the story:... don't go planning "just to watch".... plan to drive!

Anyone know how to get ahold of Steven...aka motor on....he said he might go with us to the autocross, but I haven't heard anything yet...

 

Ok, if anyone wants to go tomorrow to the autocross..we are planning on leaving our house around 9am. We could all meet in the Bob Evans parking lot off exit 25 on I-77 just like we did today and leave from there, say around 9:30? I will check this thread again tomorrow morning to see if anyone wants to meet us. If not, we will see everyone at the next meeting!
