Custard Monday again!

Who's going? We'll be there, but with only one MINI this time. Mine is filthy from the USGP, and it is a bit of a hike for us to get up there.

But Ana's car will be showing off the aero grill and checkered stripes, so she's excited.

 

I'm going to try to make it, depending on how tired I am at the end of the day.

 

I'm going to attempt to make it tonight also. However, largely depends upon the weather as I've got the little one (not the MINI) all to myself tonight, and I don't want to drag him out if it's raining too hard. Kopps has some inside room, but not much; and how fun is MINI Mondays, if you can't be out by the MINIs .

Good seeing everyone tonight--looks like the rain held off long enough for us to hang around outside in the company of our MINIs. Not sure if you all heading eastbound were able to stay ahead of the rain, but those of us heading westbound certainly got caught in it

Normally I have one of my cameras wherever I go, so I have to admit to feeling a bit sheepish at being caught without one tonight. I think MiniShagz had it covered, though.

 

I snapped a few pictures, but not too many. Too busy talking with folks. I have quite a bit of picture uploading to do from the past couple of events.

 

Yeah, it was great seeing everyone again... It was also nice meeting the folks that came in from Madison...

Rick, sorry you couldn't make it; I had a case of Lakefront brew in my car for you!

Dang it...I wanted to make it out, but the boy was a wee bit grumpy and I didn't want to get caught in the rain with him last night. Maybe I can stop by some time after work and pick up that case from you.

 

Do any of you think that the ice cream socials are getting a bit blah? Do you have suggestions on how to spice things up? Perhaps a short drive together to the ice cream place?

 

Well, I like ice cream, so any excuse is good for me

Seriously, though, I really do like having a monthly event to get people together to talk. Maybe we could make it a 'club meeting' and have a few items to discuss (upcoming events, drives, etc)

Doing a drive beforehand would be fun also, but I worry about people having time to do it after work and so on.
