cooper -> cooper S gas tank cover.

ordered the parts for the CooperS type tank cover....

but i couldn't remove the bracket from the cooper....

TIS said to "spin" the whole bracket to remove it.. but ... no luck..

anyone had experence with this, thanks for your input!

did you remove the neck from the wheel well area? It has been almost 4 years since I did mine, but can't exactly picture what you are talking about. Mine popped out right away after I pulled it apart from the filler neck. I don't remember "spinning" anything.
