After I got over the shock of how much they spent to re-format our beloved MINI ...maybe it could work for the tree huggers. I lean towards the total orginality of my little car.

Hate to re-post, but just thought of something. If all electric cars looked like the MINI...they might actually take off in the U.S.

Only $350,000? It's great to see someone working on a decent concept. I would think putting the motors inboard and having a shaft go to each wheel would reduce the unsprung weight.

BTW: welcome to NAM. I grew up in Saguaro National Monument (dad was a ranger, now it's Park) and attended Sahuaro High School.
