Anybody intrested in a track day?

I did a "Car Control Clinic" with the BMW club a few month back at the little Talladega track. It was loads of fun, 3 cars on the track at a time 20 minute sessions, you could do as many as you wanted.

You can rent that track and bring I think 10 or 12 cars is there anybody that would be intrested?

I was looking at doing the PW event next month so this may be a better option. What is considered a car control clinic? Road corse driving or cones set up to go around?

The BMW event was just driving on the track, only 3 cars at a time and 20 minute sessions.

There are lots of dates open there. I think it costs around $1500 to rent the track and there $850 in insurance if the "club" does not have any. So it would not be cheap but it's great fun and there is not alot to hit if you go off.

The combined price of rental and insurance, with 10 cars, would still be less expensive than PW per person.

Thinking the same thing SB. I would go for a full day of running Coop around the track trying to better my time, as apose to $250 for just 4 20 minute sessions at Barbers for the same price.

Lets see if we can get the people and do it. Track days are about $350 for 2 days, 8 30 minute sessions and you get an instructor, that helps alot.
