ok so i was following a 2003 mini and his brake lights functioned normal, but what i did notice is the top light also lit up.... i thought... hmmm these must have been where the rear fog lights go in the 2003 mini, so i did the same as him. wired them to the brakes and bam! i didn't want to spend the $150 on the whole panel of switches and stuff. hit me back with comments.

 

I've been going through the same bunch of stuff, you might want to check out the thread below. I'm a control freak and switches help me with my addiction , and also I wanted my last toggle blank filled in .
